Trick or Treat? Pokemon Go style…
For someone who grew up watching Pokemon the animation, it’s been fun that its developers Niantic, Inc. decided to make the animation come to life when they launch Pokemon Go as an application, an augmented reality location based game.
Though the app has different reviews, with a mixture of good and bad opinions or critiques, it was a major hit in all countries it landed into.
But after its initial release last July 6, 2016, affected by several factors, reports have shown some decline in Pokemon GO popularity and use. But for those who are still on the game, and for those who wants to try it again and want to continue the battle to become a Pokemon master, this news might just be enough to excite you once more.
November 1 is fast approaching, and when we say Halloween, what first come to our minds is the spooky creatures and candy, and the makers of Pokemon GO, has both in stored for you.
From October 26 to November 1, Niantic is dramatically increasing the availability rates of certain Pokémon. Expect more ghost type pokemon appearance, to tickle and play with you. If you’re a fanatic of this type, it means more Drowzee, Hypno, Ghastly, Haunter, Gengar, Zubat and Golbat for you. Fans are also reporting that, it seems they may have included Cubone, Marowak and Meowth in that list as well.
The candy part will give you double the fun because they are giving you double the rewards. It means double candy for most in game activity like capturing a pokemon, transferring it and making them hatch. 6 candies for every pokemon you catch which is twice the usual, and 2 candies to transfer them to the professor.I guess this works well for those who still need some additions to their pokedex, and for those pokemon players that have pokemons that they want to evolve, now is a good time to get them in the grind.
Remember, Christmas is just around the corner too, so who knows what more to expect from them. in the meanwhile enjoy this video, very familiar to us.
